After approval, you and your family receive Grenadian citizenship and passports. You can include your immediate and extended family members in the same Grenada citizenship application. Documents Required for Grenada Citizenship

Step 1 : Work With an Authorized Agent

Step 2 : Initial Eligibility Check

Step 3: Document Preparation

Step 6: Application Submission
Your agent submits the completed application to the Grenada Citizenship by Investment Unit (CBIU).
Step 7: Government Review
The government carefully reviews your application, including your background, finances, and source of funds. This stage usually takes 6 to 9 months.
Step 8: Approval in Principle
If your application is successful, you receive an Approval in Principle letter. This means your application is approved, pending completion of the investment.
Step 9 : Complete the Investment
You finalize your investment by:

Completing the approved real estate purchase
Step 10 : Receive Citizenship and Passport
After the investment is confirmed, you receive:
Grenadian citizenship certificate & Grenada passport for you and your family. The passports are usually issued within a few weeks.
Residency Requirement
Currently, there is no requirement to live in Grenada before or after obtaining citizenship. However, starting in 2026, new rules will require citizens to spend at least 30 days in Grenada within the first five years.
