Egypt Citizenship by Investment Program

In 2019, a new law and its amendments were published in Egypt launching the Citizenship by Investment Program. It is now possible for investors to obtain Egyptian citizenship and passport by investment from one of the following options:

  • Purchase of a property worth at least USD 300,000
  • Create a project with a minimum value of USD 350,000 and donate USD 100,000 to the government.
  • A non-refundable donation to the government of USD 250,000.
  • Bank deposit of USD 500,000 for 3 years without interest.
